Kevin John Windorf was born and raised in New York City, attending New York University and Fordham College, where he studied creative writing and film production. In addition to short fiction, he has written a dozen screenplays, including “Just Breathe” and “A Seduction of Colors,” and a lifetime of poetry, most recently collected in a chapbook entitled “The Depth of My Drink.”

An excerpt of his short story “Call From The Cabin,” was produced and performed on-air by NPR (2013).
